What is Elidel (Pimecrolimus)?
This medication is a steroid-free prescription cream used to treat certain skin conditions including atopic dermatitis (eczema). While there is no cure for Eczema, This medication effectively treats and helps relieve the symptons of mild to moderate Eczema, and has shown to control the redness, itching and inflammation caused by this skin condition. The active ingredient of this medication acts on the cells involved in skin inflammation.

Elidel is applied to any part of the skin where you suffer of eczema. Avoid contact with your eyes. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin areas and rub in completely. Make sure the skin is dry before applying the medication.
